Design case 2: Reduced Order Modeling of Coupled Systems Simulation results:     Static response after a voltage sweep     Reduced order models can be established automatically from finite element models. The Generation Pass takes between 10 minutes and a few hours depending on the number of modes. This time consuming step must be done just once. After that phase one can use the reduced order models for any load situation while static, harmonic or transient types of analyses. The Use Pass takes just seconds. Furthermore, a full DOF set solution can be extracted from the black box model results in order to compute the stress distribution of the entire structure or to animate the transient response as shown in the following pages.
